The Dave DeMarco Band (and its acoustic duo counterpart) is a good time classic rock band that dabbles with some of the cooler modern rock. Think Deep Purple, Rush, Aerosmith, Beatles, Wings, KISS, Cheap Trick, Weezer, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Chicago, STP, Heart, Live, Green Day, Blind Faith, Queen...all delivered with 3-part harmony. Deep cuts from albums you know all too well are mixed with slam-dunk favorites which seem to improve with age....much like the band's members.....
Steve Shaffer - vocals, guitar. Steve played with me in Merge and is currently in the bands Shift and Deadlock (formerly Burn). Steve keeps showing up for gigs despite the fact that we keep throwing songs at him that he's never played before. He does such a good job of it, we're starting to think he really does know the songs and just likes getting all the praise. Steve and I like to compete over dumb things like which of us will get the largest glass of Grand Marnier or who owns the most guitars (currently a tie!).
Dean Cramer - vocals, guitar. Dean is a gen-u-ine rockstar in these here parts. For over 10 years, he was half of the guitar tour de force in Funny Money and has also done time w/ Sebastian Bach and other notables.
Ross Tyrie - guitar. Ross comes and gigs with us whenever he has a night off from his main band - the way cool Crushing Day. In his spare time, Ross makes sweeeet custom pedals. Sometimes, he even makes them for other people!
Chris Mack - drums. Chris currently plays w/ me in the band Oblivion Sun. It's great to get to play music as diverse as the original prog/fusion we do in OS and the fun covers we do in the DDB.
DD - vocals, bass. I'm so grateful to have such talented guys as these in my stable. Whether it's a full band gig or an acoustic duo, we always have fun playing our favorite songs and the crowds pick up on that.
