1988 Alembic Spoiler Fretless. This was my main Battery Apple bass. Originally purchased for use with Dixon Hall, I brought it into BA practice one night, just to see how it would sound playing our songs on a fretless and was surprised by how cool it sounded. Very shortly thereafter, the songs That Ain't Soul and Full Speed were written and the fretless became the sound of Battery Apple. Now making select appearances.
This model features a bocate top, mahogany core and a very thin maple neck, perfect for sliding chords up and down the neck and fast runs. As you'll soon see, I kinda have a thing for Alembics.
