Wings Of Hope, an independently produced film by critically acclaimed writer/director Raj Basu, was released in April 2002. The film featured a live performance from one of my previous bands, Battery Apple and we placed two songs on the film's soundtrack. Raj and I were introduced by our mutual friend, actress Tiffany Sinclair who had a part in the film. Raj thought BA's music would be perfect for a sequence where the main characters were hanging out in a local club. As a result, we ended up with a substantial amount of footage in the film and our song, "Get Inside" was played in its entirety.
I was also able to place a track by another band I was playing in at the time. The song "Look At Me" from Dixon Hall was used later in the film.
Indie films don't get nearly the coverage that major motion pictures receive but WOH was picked up by a distributor who secured nationwide distribution at select theaters. Below is a list of theaters around the country where Wings Of Hope was shown.
